How to Re-hydrate your GoGo Kefir Dehydrated Milk Kefir Grains
To get started you’ll require:
Dehydrated Milk Kefir Grains – 1 pouch of GoGo Kefir Dehydrated Milk Kefir Grains is approx. 2 teaspoons and makes 2 tablespoons of rehydrated grains
½ cup of non-chlorinated water
½ cup of full fat milk
Note: Use Non Metallic equipment
Procedure:
- Add your dehydrated milk kefir grains to ½ cup of full fat milk mixed with ½ cup of room temperature, non-chlorinated water. Let this sit 10 hours or overnight.
- After 10 hours, strain out the grains from the water/milk mixture and discard the mixture. Add the grains to 1 cup of milk and let this sit 12-24 hours at room temp.
- After 12-24 hours check the mixture to see if the milk has thickened.
- If it hasn’t thickened – strain and discard the milk – add the grains to 1 cup of milk and let sit 12-24 hours.
- If it has thickened – strain the mixture and add the grains to 1 cup of milk and let sit another 12-24 hours then continue with https://water-kefir.ca/how-to-make-nutritious-milk-kefir-at-home/
